About This Walk

Hello!

Whether you’re a first-time participant or a seasoned attendee, welcome to the Winston-Salem Worldwide Photowalk! My name is Rhonda and I’m going to do my best to keep our walk organized and fun. This yearly event is all about embracing the joy of photography, so feel free to bring any camera(s) of your choice, including camera phones because they count too!

Our schedule begins with a meet-up at the northern end of Artivity on the Green Park. Let’s plan to assemble between 9:15 – 9:25 a.m., allowing us a little time to go over the suggested route, guidelines, and address any questions or concerns. Following this, we’ll have a two-hour window to capture the essence of the area, culminating in our final meetup location at 11:30 a.m., just outside the entrance of Camel City BBQ.  For those interested, we can grab a meal together, share our photographic experiences, and get to know each other better.

Since we are walking in the morning, there should be plenty of available parking in the area where we will start and finish. There is free street parking, pay-by-the-hour garage parking, and pay-per-app parking in designated parking lots.

There is a discussion tab for our group, so take a quick moment to introduce yourself and ask any questions you might have before our walk. I have started the discussion with a recommendation for the walking path.

Also, I have to say that the photos you uploaded from the walk are amazing! Let’s congratulate Mark Weir on his colorful mural alleyway and on being selected from our group to move to the next level.

If you have any difficulties with the link for your group photo download or connect outside of this group, feel free to reach out (Rhonda@Rhondaproctor.com)

  2. I hope everyone enjoyed participating in the walk and meeting other photographers and hobbyists in our area. The deadline to submit your photo expired and I now have the difficult process of selecting a photo. I love the variety of photos you shared! You should be able to access the photos from around the world and have the ability to Like/Comment on them. I encourage you to participate in the process 🙂
