About This Walk
This is more than a photo walk!
We’ll have a meet and greet 9:30AM at the Sun Inn courtyard (behind the building not next to) off Main Street Plus code: JJC9+P9 Bethlehem, Pennsylvania at 10 sharp we will take our group photo and gear up to go.
We will start our stroll down Historic Main Street where you can capture all the beauty of years gone by and our world famous Hotel Bethlehem.
Next, we’ll walk through Historical Moravian University that was founded on a belief that education is essential for all; regardless of gender or social standing, over 280 years ago.
Then we will head east to the “overlook” at city hall where we can play life size games or visit the japanese garden that was donated to the Bethlehem in the 80’s form a town in Japan.
We will finish the walk with a stroll to the middle of the Fahy Bridge. This is an amazing place to photograph the historic Bethlehem Steel Stacks. Some of you may want to cross over the bridge and photograph the Steel Stacks and others may want to go down to Sand Island and still others may want to double back to the downtown. The adventure continues on your own path. There is no need meet back at noon if you are enjoying the adventure. If you do find yourself back at the sun Inn let’s talk about the day over lunch!
New info… The city is having a scarecrow contest and it is Octoberfest at the Steel Stacks! So much to capture!!
