Good day all. It is with pleasure Linda and I announce the winner of this year’s Photowalk. It was Jerry Horensten with the image at the link below. The kids for context of size of the water coming across the jetty as well as the skewed horizon line (whether intentional or not) which added to the watery flow along with the post-production sepia-ish tone were made it easy for Linda and I to choose this image unanimously.

Hey all, due to the weather and limited attendance, we will be hosting an unofficial walk this Friday, Oct. 17, at 6 pm. This is totally independent of the walk on Oct. 4 through the Kelby Group. The scenario is a free concert with Firewater Tent Revival. If you like green mohawks and washboard instruments and a beautiful sunset behind the stage, this is also for you! Don’t let the bad forecast fool you! First, they’re often wrong. It can be raining 5 minutes away and beautiful at the jetty because of the winds…or it could be a shit show. Either way, come prepared, and let’s make it awesome.

Hey all! One day away for the most fun you can have with a camera! As of now the forecast shows a nice window or dryness between 6-8 pm. While we are hopeful for that, we realize at that window of time in Florida you may get wet.

I’m unable to attend the walk today because I am experiencing technical issues with my professional camera body. I have been on the internet the past couple of hours with a chat tech support person. It’s exhausting troubleshooting. I was really looking forward to the photowalk today., sorry for the cancellation. I’m an hour and 10 min. Drive from Fort Piece.
