About This Walk
This is a casual 2 hour walk through some of (what I think) are Odense’s most picturesque areas of gardens, parks, houses, and of course H.C. Andersen quarter, with a last bit at the harbour if there’s time. I’m still working on a route plan, but I think it will be about 4km total, depending on how off course we get. We’ll start at the statue called ‘Skyggen, rejsekammeraten og improvisatoren’, across Ă˜stre Stationsvej from the train station, just next to Kongens Have. I’ll probably be wearing a bright red jacket, so I should be easy to find.
I’ve booked a table at Storms Pakhus for 3pm, so anyone who’s interested can gather there after the walk for food and/or drinks.
I speak both English and Danish, and everyone is welcome, whether you use a big expensive camera or your smartphone or anything else!
Tomorrow’s the day, bring your rain gear everyone! It will likely be too wet for my red jacket, but I’ll be the only fool standing out in the rain beside the statue. See you there!
