About This Walk
The River Market or as the locals call it “City Market” has a rich history dating back to 1857 and is home to a vibrant, creative, and diverse community. Set on the north side of downtown Kansas City we will walk through Kansas City’s oldest market and explore an eclectic mix of shops and boutiques. This is a great opportunity for interesting photography from street photography to architecture.
As we wrap up we will take a ride on the KC Streetcar and head to a favorite lunch spot in downtown KC.
Free parking is available at 7th & Main on Saturdays & Sundays, a short walk or free one-stop ride on the KC Streetcar.

FYI, most of the parking near City Market is pay-to-park.

Please allow time to park and get to the meeting site.
