About This Walk
Linda and Mitch Kloorfain are thrilled to host their 15th Worldwide PhotoWalk.
Whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time or you’ve been shooting for decades, this walk is designed to inspire. Heathcote has generously opened their gates to our group, giving photographers of all levels the rare opportunity to explore and capture the gardens in full detail — from the quiet elegance of the Japanese Garden to the nationally recognized bonsai collection, lush tropical foliage, hidden critters, sculptural architecture, and the peaceful pathways that make Heathcote such a local treasure.
This photowalk is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for anyone who loves creativity, nature, and community. You’ll meet fellow photographers, discover new angles and techniques, and enjoy a morning surrounded by color, texture, and living art.

It seems like the Kelby group changed things up in the middle of the game. Here is their current messaging:
Here’s what’s different.
We simplified things. There’s no separate leader contest or walker contest this year, and leaders don’t pick a winner from their walk anymore. Everybody enters the same gallery, and Scott picks the finalists and the winner from the whole thing.
So, we no longer pick from our group and submit to them. It is just a big free-for-all.

If you type, ‘Heathcote’ into the search bar you will find our walk and the ones that were submitted by our group.

Good Day!
The walk is tomorrow morning, and we are excited for all the new names and a location we have not used before.
Some housekeeping, please try to arrive by 8:45 so we can all check in together and start on time.
There is no fee to enter as long as you are registered here (or you’re being pushed in a stroller, Jenna)
The weather forecast is good but there may be some misting towards the end. Bring something to protect your gear just in case.
Our walks are not rigid. People usually venture off to what they like. That’s great. Take someone with you that you’ve never met before this day and make it interesting.
There will be a few dancers there for people that want some human form in the garden setting.

We are excited to have the Photowalk just a short time a way!
What a great venue at Heathcote Botanical Gardens.

In addition, a few dancers from ‘United in Worship’ will be there for those who want to combine dance lines with floral lines.

I wanted to do this but realized that I would be accross the state on that day at a convention…sorry to miss this!
Good evening, i am new to the photo walk. And am very excited . I have a few questions so that i can be properly prepared. 1st is there a fee to enter the botanical garden that day? And 2nd is it ok to bring a baby in their stroller to the walk ?
Jenna, No fee for entry as long as the person is registered here. No fee for a stroller either. Bring the baby!
Is giving a donation the way to sign up? That is all I see when I pressed join the walk. A bit confused???
