About This Walk
The Adobe photo team is pleased to have Sam Horine lead the Seattle photo walk – for this golden hour “walk” we will ride the ferry across to Bainbridge Island, disembark and then immediately return on the same ferry back to Seattle. Please note, the cost of a roundtrip adult walk on ferry ticket is around $10 – if you cannot afford this cost but would like to join, please reach out (dm me on IG @samhorine) and I will cover the cost of your ticket as I don’t want cost to be a prohibitive factor for anyone to join.
Please note, the Seattle Mariner’s are playing game one of the ALDS at home on Saturday, it’s going to very busy downtown. If you’re driving in for the walk parking will be extremely difficult and potentially very expensive, please plan ahead and reserve a spot using an app or consider parking near a lightrail station and taking the train in. The use of public transportation on Saturday is highly recomended.
For the walk, we will be joined once again by super co-host extraordinaire, Dan Cole (@dankhole on IG) – this is not a walk you’ll want to miss. Highlights will include stellar city and (potential) mountain views in both directions with lovely soft light as well as plenty of unique scenes to practice cinematic street photography and portraiture on the boat.
The trip takes approximately 35 minutes each way and the weekend ferries are often delayed. We will meet as a group outside the terminal on the plaza near the ticket booths around 4pm and take the 4:35pm ferry to Bainbridge Island – please ensure you have you ticket arranged in advance.
This walk is suitable for all levels and styles of photographers! Bring a sense of adventure and perhaps a layer as it can get cold out on the water. Food and drinks are available to purchase on the boat.

Driving up from StumpTown in the AM, looking for parking tips near the terminal.
There’s several parking apps like Parkopedia, SoptHero. Any ecommendations, or tips?
