About This Walk
I have been doing Photowalks for over 10 years now and not one is the same!!! We have been to rooftops, had models for shoots, get in a few places many can’t, and have a blast in the process. I can’t wait to meet some old friends and make some new ones!! It’s been since Covid that we had a walk and I am more than ready for one!
I will be working details out on places to shoot, drink and food spots at the end of our walk to trade emails/FB/Insta and answer any questions about submitting work and more. I will keep everyone updated via email, as well as here so keep an eye out!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!
Can’t wait to see everyone tonight and am so happy we have even more that signed up for our walk!!
This will be a low key event, as it seems finding exclusive access on one of the busiest wedding days has been a bear. BUT I have a great walk planned with some on the same routes many of us take, but a few places to hopefully get some killer shots!
Please remember safety!!! Ladies use a cross body bag– Phones either in your front pocket or your bag. Shoes you don’t mind getting messy and are closed toed. No jewelry is best. Remember…if anyone asks ” I know where you got those shoes “…you have them on your feet. ha ha!!
We will meet at the gates to the square on the Cathedral side! We will then walk to our first drink spot, and I have a balcony overlooking Bourbon reserved, as an icebreaker and to get our first shots of the evening. We will end at Turtle Bay for eats, snacks, drinks, and Steve has graciously opened the upstairs for us, which also has a small balcony where we can wind down, and chat about the evening.

The time of meeting has been changed to 5 pm. The better to catch a bit of the Blue Hour!
I have hopefully planned a walk a bit off the beaten path with some new sites, a bit of the River, and if all goes as planned, a few tricks up my sleeves!!
We’ll stop once or twice on the route for a soda, cocktail, and a snack, but will end at Turtle Bay on Decatur to exchange info if you like, share what you liked or didn’t like about the walk for future improvements, and generally enjoy catching up with old friends, and making a few new ones!! Can’t wait for the 5th!!!
How many walkers have signed up so far?
As of Friday evening we now have 10 Walkers!!! I’m so excited!
My wife will also be joining, she was going to dress up so she will be available for shots (photo variety)
