About This Walk
Hello everyone. This walk will be in some of the crowded parts of London. Meet at: 11h00-11h15. The walk starts at Buckingham Palace at 11h30 & we will visit Parliament Sq, Horse Guards, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Sq, Chinatown & finish at Trafalgar Sq. [ If you enjoy making photos of people in busy & iconic parts of London, or if you’d like to give it a go, then this is the walk for you. [ We won’t be walking fast but we will be continually on the move. Therefore please wear comfortable clothing & footwear, appropriate for the weather. In addition, please carry the minimum of photographic gear; bring only what you know you will use. Also, come with camera protection if the weather is inclement & if your camera is not weatherproof. [ The walk should end at approx 13h15. [ Please make contact if you have questions, need advice or would like to discuss anything relating to this walk : e. cabonj@gmail.com

Hello everyone.
I’m looking forward to meeting you on Saturday 5 October. Please arrive between 11h00 & 11h15.
This note is to remind you of what you could do to prepare for the day, in order to get the best from the photo walk.
Comfortable clothes & footwear have already been mentioned, as has carrying only the gear you know you will use. Please ensure your batteries are charged fully & there’s plenty of space on your memory cards or you have enough film.
Assuming this is one of many photowalks you will make, it’s worth thinking about what you want to concentrate on for this particular walk. Having a theme or subject to focus on may help you produce a set of pictures you’ll be pleased with, & which would work well together as a set.
For instance, you may want to concentrate on capturing movement of people, or on family & other groups interacting with one another, or on the play of light & shade on humans, vehicles & buildings, or you could look out for amusing juxtapositions of random elements, or on one or a few colours wherever they may appear during the walk. The choice, of course, is up to you & what you find interesting.
Please make contact if you have questions, comments or want to discuss anything relating to this walk : e. cabonj@gmail.com
