About Photowalk Trondheim

Welcome to Photowalk Trondheim 2025, organized by Trøndelag Fotoklubb as part of the global World Wide Photowalk. This is a great opportunity to meet, get inspired, and shoot together — for photographers of all levels.

Meeting point & route
We’ll gather at the main entrance of Studentersamfundet in central Trondheim. From there, we will walk along the Nidelva river, through city streets and architectural spaces, before ending at Dokkgata 8. The route is designed to offer varied subjects — river views, bridges, facades, people in urban settings, and moody street scenes.

What to expect

• Beginners and experienced photographers are both warmly welcomed

• Emphasis on street photography, architecture, urban landscapes, and environmental portraits

• Guidance, idea exchange, and mutual encouragement along the way

• A social atmosphere where questions are welcome, exploration is encouraged, and creativity is free

Practical information

• Bring your camera (and additional lenses if you have them)

• Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes

• A small notebook and pen can come in handy for ideas, tips, or notes

• We encourage participants to stay curious, experiment, and share images along the route

We’ll wrap up together at Dokkgata 8, where there will be an opportunity to view some of the day’s photos, mingle, and reflect on the experience.
