About This Walk
We’ll begin our walk at Ulsan Dongheon Park, where participants can explore and photograph the traditional architecture and peaceful surroundings. From there, we’ll cross into the heart of the old downtown, wandering through narrow alleyways filled with character and charm. Along the way, we’ll capture the local markets, street details, and the vibrant energy of the area before making our way toward Youth Street for a look at the city’s modern pulse.
To round out the experience, we’ll head to the Taehwa River, where we can take in Ulsan’s natural beauty from the walking bridge and enjoy a different perspective of the cityscape. We’ll wrap up at the nearby Art Museum café, where we can grab a coffee together (or head somewhere else to grab some food), share our favorite shots, and recap the day.
As your walk leader, I’ve been a professional photographer for many years and have led numerous photowalks and workshops across Ulsan. My goal is to create a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere where photographers of all levels feel welcome. Whether you’re shooting with a DSLR, mirrorless, or just your phone, this walk is about enjoying photography, connecting with others, and seeing Ulsan through fresh eyes.
The Walk is On!October 3rd, 2025
Looks like the rain gods have given us a window, and we’re taking it! 🌤️📸
The Worldwide Photo Walk is happening today as planned. We’ll meet in front of the Dungeon Park gates in just over an hour and a half.
Bring your camera, maybe toss an umbrella in your bag just in case, and let’s make the most of this break in the weather.
See you soon!

Rain and the WalkOctober 3rd, 2025
Hey everyone,
Just a quick update about Saturday’s Worldwide Photo Walk. The forecast is showing a high chance of rain, and since this location seems to attract rain every time I schedule a walk (seriously, it’s becoming a tradition!), I wanted to be upfront with you all.
Here’s the plan:
☕ I’ll be down at park entrance at the scheduled time—rain or shine—probably with a coffee in hand.
📷 If the rain is light, we’ll walk, shoot, and make the best of those moody reflections and umbrellas.
🌧 If it’s pouring, we’ll keep it casual and just hang out, maybe duck into cover or make it more of a “coffee walk” than a photo walk.
No pressure at all to come if you’d rather stay dry—it’s the weekend before the holiday and I completely get it. If you do show up, awesome; if not, we’ll catch you at the next one.
Looking forward to seeing who braves the weather!
—Jason
