About This Walk
We are delighted to announce the KelbyOne Photowalk in Bhubaneswar, scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., beginning at the historic Mukteswar Temple and concluding at the majestic Lingaraj Temple. Both sites are not only architectural treasures but also vibrant heritage landmarks that offer endless possibilities for creative photography. As the walk leader, I bring with me years of experience in photography, having been actively involved in guiding students through college photography courses. A bird enthusiast, I have been a part of a number of wildlife photo trips. This will be my first KelbyOne Photowalk, and I am excited to share this journey with fellow enthusiasts.
With 27 photographers already on board and more expected to join, the walk promises to be an enriching experience of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Participants are encouraged to carry light gear for easy mobility, experiment with varying perspectives; from wide shots capturing temple spires against the morning sky to close-up details of carvings, and interact with the play of light as the day unfolds.In addition to exploring the temples, photographers will also find immense opportunities to capture the vibrancy of Bhubaneswar’s streets along the route. From local vendors arranging their wares in the early morning light to pilgrims, priests, and everyday people engaged in their daily routines, the walk opens up a canvas of candid moments and storytelling frames. Documenting these street activities alongside the heritage backdrop will give participants a chance to weave together cultural narratives that make the photowalk truly unique.
