About This Walk

Lincoln City Centre ‘Street’ PhotoWalk

Street Photography is as broad a theme as you want it to be, it’s consistently the most popular, most requested PhotoWalk theme.

I’m Adam Winfield, professional photographer, passionate image creator, and visual story teller. I’m a qualified tutor and love to share my expertise and passion for photography, helping anyone to make better photos, regardless of the camera they have.

I’m leading Lincoln’s Worldwide PhotoWalk again with a street photography theme this year, the Worldwide PhotoWalk brings photographers of all skill levels, interests and ability together in a supportive, informative environment.

I’m delighted my friends at Not Quite North have generously offered to host our walk’s start, finish and support us throughout with some more expert support.

Our PhotoWalk will start and finish at Not Quite North, right next to Coffee Aroma, a perfect combination on Guildhall Street, Lincoln.
We’ll begin with an informal briefing, an introduction to street photography and we’ll give you some pointers to watch out for before we head out around Lincoln City Centre to explore.

Throughout the walk we’ll answer any questions, help you with your cameras and give you lots of tips and inspiration to create your own, unique pictures. If you’re happy to head out to find your own thing that’s fine, we’ll be around if you need anything.

We’ll meet back up at Not Quite North to answer your questions, share photos and stories, chat about photography, hopefully all over a tea or coffee!

Sign up to the Worldwide PhotoWalk Lincoln for free and we’ll be in touch with more details shortly.
Have a question? Use the discussion tab and I’ll get back to you.
I look forward to meeting you on Saturday 4th October.

Adam

PhotoWalk Details For TomorrowOctober 3rd, 2025

Hi
I’m looking forward to welcoming you to our PhotoWalk tomorrow, Saturday.
We’ll be meeting up at Not Quite North, Lincoln’s analogue/film lab, 23A Guildhall St, Lincoln LN1 1TR – door immediately to the left of Coffee Aroma, and up the stairs.
The walk starts at 10am with a short introduction and briefing before we head out on a relaxed and informal loop past the Brayford Pool, up the High Street and around Sincil Street, we’ll aim to be back for around 12pm.
Not Quite North have offered anyone who would like to try shooting the walk on film the loan of an Olympus Trip 35 compact 35mm film camera, you’ll just need to buy the film and pay for processing/scanning, you can arrange this when you arrive tomorrow.
This is an informal walk and suitable for anyone, regardless of their skill, experience or camera.
The weather looks windy and possibly a little wet tomorrow so please dress appropriately, remember “bad weather makes for good photography”!
Should you need to contact me directly at any time, my mobile number is 07954 192253 but if you have any general questions about the walk please use the discussion page on the walk’s website.
See you tomorrow at 10am
Adam
