UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!
I’m sure we’ve all watched the weather lately and know Houston has been getting lots of rain. As of 9 pm Friday, there is a low chance of rain during our photo walk time, so it is a GO! That said, the trails are probably a little muddy. It would be a good idea to bring a rain jacket and wear boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
In the event that it is raining at 8 am, and the radar shows the weather to be a continued threat, we may cut the walk short and head over to Adair Kitchen.

We’ll meet at the visitor center and walk through a few of the trails. It is a nature walk; expect to see birds and squirrels and, of course, lots of trees and flowers.
There is a chance that it may rain, so pack some rain gear for you and your camera. You may want to bring some bug spray, sunscreen (who knows, you may need it), and a water bottle.
You may enter off the 610 feeder or off Woodway.
After the walk, we’ll meet at Adair Kitchen at San Felipe and Sage for drinks and snacks. This is in the same shopping center that had Randall’s grocery store.
Be aware that the Arboretum has paid parking; it’s $6.50. Please download the ‘ParkHouston’ app to your phone in advance to avoid delays in the parking lot.
