About This Walk
My name is John Baumann, and I would like to thank you for checking out the walk I have planned. Regardless of your photography experience, I hope you will join us and have a great time.
We’ll meet shortly before sunrise (6am) at the Bunker Hill Museum, 43 Monument Sq, Charlestown, MA ( directly across the street from the Bunker Hill Monument) This location offers excellent opportunities to capture unique shots of the monument, its surrounding grounds, and the local neighborhood.
From there, we’ll walk toward the North End. Along the way, we’ll have plenty of chances to photograph the Boston skyline, local waterways, TD Garden, and the Zakim Bridge. Once we arrive in the North End, we’ll explore the area’s historic sites, churches, parks, and charming local architecture.
After the walk concludes at 9:00 AM, we’ll gather at the Waterline Restaurant (inside the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel) for coffee and breakfast. This will be a great opportunity to connect with fellow photographers, discuss our experiences from the walk, and share tips and techniques.
