Photographing London is like capturing a city with a thousand faces, where history, modernity, and the whimsical blend into one sprawling, cinematic canvas. Photography in London is an exhilarating adventure through one of the world’s most diverse and photogenic cities. The city offers a rich tapestry of scenes, where centuries-old history rubs shoulders with cutting-edge architecture, vibrant street life, and serene green spaces. Each neighbourhood, landmark, and moment provides endless opportunities to capture a unique side of London.
Join us in London for a photography tour of hidden London.
My name is Steven Gosling, and I organise photography workshops around the world from London (where I live) to India. This Worldwide Photo Walk is a 5 hour taster from my 3 day London workshop.
Kit to bring: This is mainly a photo walk so keeping things simple, as a minimum bring a camera with 24-70 lens or similar. Extras to consider is an ultra wide such as 14-30 and a 70-2oo. Tripods not really needed.
Meeting Point: Midday at centre of London Bridge on the Tower Bridge (east) side. We will end at 5pm near Westminster Bridge.
It’s great to be involved this year and raise some money for charity.

Hi all. Thanks for booking on the Photo Walk with me on Saturday 4th October.
I have updated the listing with more info about what to bring, where to meet etc.
I’ve reduced the times a little as a few people commented it was a little to long for them.
Meeting time is still midday, ending at 5pm.
It’s not an overly energetic walk and we will have a few rest stops along the way.

I would love to join this walk but feel seven hours is a bit much for me.
Hi Grahame, I have reduced the walk down to 6 hours. It’s not an over energetic walk and we will have a few rests along the way.

Hi Steven, can you recommend what lenses to bring? I have a 14-35mm and a 24-70mm – should I bring both?
is this free ? or is there a fees ?

The event is free, we just ask for a minimum of £1 donation to the charity.

Brilliant photo walk yesterday, Steve was kind and very enthusiastic showing us all the hidden photo spots. The group was very friendly as well, everyone looking after each other.
