About This Walk
Discover the stories of Damietta, Egypt, with Another World Photography as part of Worldwide Photowalk 2026. Our planned route brings together traditional boatbuilding workshops in Ezbet El Borg, the Grand Mosque, and the everyday life of fishermen at the fish market, before finishing at El Lessan Lighthouse in Ras El Bar. From the hands of skilled boatbuilders to fishing boats, local faces, and coastal views, we will explore opportunities for street photography, environmental portraits, architectural details, and visual storytelling.
Photographers of all experience levels are welcome, whether using a camera or a smartphone. Come ready to observe, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow photographers. Please bring comfortable walking shoes, drinking water, and charged batteries, and ask permission before photographing people up close or entering workshops. The planned route includes separate locations and will require transport between some stops.
