Canary Wharf Photo Walk — Glass, Steel & City Lights
The Adobe photo team is pleased to have Ben Moore lead the photo walk in London city. Join me for a photography walk through one of London’s most striking urban landscapes. Canary Wharf is a playground of reflections, symmetry, and scale — soaring glass towers, sculptural water features, and dramatic light that shifts completely from golden hour into blue hour.
We’ll explore a mix of iconic viewpoints and hidden angles most visitors walk straight past: the mirrored canyons between skyscrapers, the water gardens and fountains of Jubilee Park, the greenery of the Crossrail Place roof garden, and the contrast of historic dockside architecture against ultra-modern towers.
Whether you’re into architectural photography, long exposures, reflections, or just want to sharpen your composition skills in a genuinely photogenic location, this walk has something for every level. We’ll time it to catch the city lights coming on as dusk sets in — one of the best golden-to-blue-hour transitions in London.
Bring your camera (phone or DSLR, all welcome), comfortable shoes, and an eye for reflections. All skill levels welcome — I’ll be on hand throughout with tips on composition, settings, and getting the best out of the location.
Install Lightroom mobile onto your phone or tablet and log-in with your Adobe ID. If you are new to Lightroom you are welcome to participate with a free 7-day trial.” Download on or after 10/1 so you are sure to have the app available for our walk.
