Where The Walk Will End
Wapping Wharf Harbour side
About This Walk
This will be a chilled city walk around central Bristol with camera in hand.
Starting at the top of Christmas Steps, heading down through to Corn Street and St Nicholas Market, then down through King Street to Queens Square and eventually to make our way to the harbour side where we’ll finish off along the old train tracks of Wapping Wharf.
We’ll start at 10:00am and finish around 15:00pm. (Sooner/later depending on time).
This walk will focus on street photography and capturing the essence of Bristol city life (people/streets/architecture).
We’ll walk together to each area, but feel free to roam and explore once we arrive.
All levels are welcome, and all formats accepted – whether that’s digital, film or phone.
There is a set route, but we can spend longer in certain areas if the group wants more time.
This is a social event with the chance to meet and spend time with like-minded individuals interested in photography, so feel free to share ideas, ask questions and share knowledge or tips where you feel comfortable.
Reminder For The WalkOctober 1st, 2026
Hey all,
Just a kind reminder that the walk will be happening this Saturday at 10:00am, starting at the top of Christmas Steps at the bottom of St Michaels Hill. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see the black signed gate and a group with cameras!
Notice: There will likely be some group photos to document our walk which may be used for promotion or personal record (by myself or others in the group). Feel free to let me know if you’d prefer to step out for any.
At the end of the walk, depending on how people feel, we can stop for a drink/social at one the nearby venues on Wapping Wharf, such as Junction. Again, feel free to step out if you need to shoot off.
As this is a social event, there will also be chance to connect with others via social networks and be in a group chat if you are interested in joining future walks. Again, no pressure to partake.
Looking forward to seeing you all there, and fingers crossed for decent weather!
