About This Walk
Welcome to the 2024 Winston-Salem Worldwide Photo Walk!
I’m excited to have you join us! I encourage you to introduce yourself to the group and ask any questions you may have about the event.
Tanglewood Park offers fantastic photo opportunities, including the stables, gardens, and the historic Manor House. Once you proceed through the Main Entrance Gate (Highway 158 entrance), follow the signs to Manor House Rd. A green sign will guide you to turn left for the Manor House and Arboretum, with parking available near both locations. Our 2-hour walk will begin and end at the Arboretum Main Entrance. When you enter the first Arboretum gate, look for the group with cameras near the outdoor pavilion.
Please arrive a little early to park, find us, and meet the group. We plan to start promptly at 9:30 AM to give us enough time to explore.
Park Entrance Fees:
- $2.00 per personal vehicle
- $8.00 for passenger vans and buses
- Note: Motorcycles are prohibited in the park.
Whether you’re shooting with a Phone, Point & Shoot, DSLR, SLR, Mirrorless, or Film camera— everyone is welcome, from beginners to professionals. Feel free to share this event with fellow photography lovers.
After the walk, join us for lunch at Monte De Rey Mexican Restaurant (3930 Harper Rd, across from the park entrance) to chat, share photos, and enjoy good company.
Important Reminder:
Don’t forget your login credentials for the official website (www.worldwidephotowalk.com). All updates, photo submissions, and award notifications will be available on the site under our walk: Winston-Salem Worldwide Photo Walk – Tanglewood. I don’t have access to your login information, so be sure to keep it handy!
Just registered, looking forward to this event.
