SEEing StrEEts : A Davao Downtown Photo Walk
The Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk, dubbed the world’s largest global and social photography event, has grown immensely in size and popularity since the inaugural walk in 2007. Davao City participates regularly with 2 to 3 led groups over the years. One of those groups is the Davao Downtown Photo Walk, now on its 5th year. This walk is a "Street Photography" focused event where photographers walk around, shoot street photos, and have fun. After the walk, participants have the opportunity to submit their best street photograph into a contest. They can connect and share their photos with other photographers from around the world, and be entered to win some amazing prizes! The Worldwide Photo Walk® proudly supports The Springs Of Hope Kenya Orphanage; an organization that feeds, houses, educates, and empowers young orphans so that they can grow up to not just survive, but succeed. Participants may donate for as low as a dollar (but not required nor obligated) to the Springs of Hope to help make a difference in these children’s lives.
