About This Walk
Hi All, I am a local family photographer here is the Reston area. Bring whatever camera you have, (fancy new one, old one, or cell phone) it doesn’t matter, as long as it takes photos! Invite others to come out and bring a friend with you. The more, the merrier!
Let’s meet up at the Robert E. Simon statue at 8:50-ish. It is right across from Kalypso’s Sports Tavern, on the waterside of Lake Anne. There are always families, kids, dogs, and possibly boats on the water-side of Lake Anne. There is also the Reston Farmers Market going on during this time in the parking lot area. You can get great shots of close-up vegetables and everything else they are selling. We are going to walk around at our own pace from 9:00 to 11:00 and then meet up at the Lake Anne Coffee House & Wine Bar to eat, drink and show off our award-winning photos 😉
Parking is sometimes challenging on Saturdays since the Farmer’s market takes up part of it. You can park nearby on the street and walk down. Here is the official parking instructions from the farmers market in case this helps someone.

Parking is available along North Shore Drive. There is also a nearby parking lot with convenient access to the Reston Farmers Market.
STEP 1: Exit the parking area where the Market is and go left on North Shore Drive, through the traffic light by the Fellowship House.
STEP 2: Take the first left turn after the traffic light and go straight up the hill by the office building and park.
STEP 3: Walk down the steps behind the Washington Plaza Baptist Church to the Plaza and turn left to go into the Farmers Market.
