About This Walk
The forest festival is under way on October 7, 2023, in Elkins, WV. We shall meet at the Walgreens parking lot and walk towards the Elkins Train Depot. Along the way, we have many interesting festival outlets and people which are subject to candid photo shot. Arriving at the depot, we shall have more fun activities including the ferry’s wheel, bumper car rides, etc. The Sun sets around 6:53 pm on October 7, 2023, and we shall take a nice sunset photo against the train depot and other rides. The walk extends into the 3rd and Davis streets, and we have many more stops such as hotdog venders, lemonades venders, etc. The walk is about a mile and a half long and it ends at the CJ Maggie’s. Photographers Tip: use action freezing fast shutter speed. Create a long exposure on rides using tripod. Capture the golden hour backlit photos on people. Funny moments that people experience, etc. Use bird’s eye angle and worm’s eye angle, even a 360 if you can create a unique photo.
