About This Walk

We will begin our walk along the banks of the Red Cedar River on MSU’s Main Campus and visit several historic locations including: Beal Botanical Garden, Sparty the MSU Mascot, MSU Football Stadium, Farm Lane Bridge graffiti paintings, The Rock, MSU Bikes, John Hannah Statue, Beaumont Tower and return to our starting point, the MSU Main Library Lobby. Afterward we will meet at a nearby restaurant (group vote: majority rules) in East Lansing,MI for lunch and sharing photos on smartphones and mobile devices. This will be your opportunity to experience the lovely MSU Campus with Autumn colors, learn more about scenic photography and make new friends. Film cameras, digital cameras and smartphones are all welcome. This event will go rain or shine. In the event of rain, we will visit several indoor locations on campus. Prepare for the weather. Bring an umbrella and wear layers of clothing.  Parking is “Pay by Plate” in Ramp #6 off Grand River Avenue across from the Student Bookstore.
