About This Walk

We are delighted to extend a warm invitation to the very first Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk right here in the heart of Maasin City, Southern Leyte.

Our adventure begins at the Maasin City Plaza, where photographers of all levels will converge to share their passion for storytelling through images. As shutters click and creativity ignites, we will set forth on a leisurely stroll that promises to uncover the hidden gems and overlooked beauty of our beloved city.

Mark your calendars for the 7th of October, 2023, a Saturday that holds the promise of artistic exploration. This date coincides with the bustling “tabo,” an emblematic market day that paints Maasin City with a kaleidoscope of colors, textures, and life. Our lenses will become our windows into this dynamic scene, capturing the essence of vendors and visitors, the lively exchanges, and the rich tapestry of goods on display.

But the journey doesn’t end there. As the day unfolds, we will traverse the cityscape, unlocking its visual stories with every click of the camera. From intricate architectural details to candid street scenes, we will collectively weave a photographic narrative that encapsulates the spirit of Maasin City.

Our final destination, the enchanting Bayview Park, awaits to welcome us as the sun gently dips below the horizon. Here, against the backdrop of serene waters and a panoramic skyline, we will convene to share our photographic exploits. Stories will be exchanged, lessons learned, and new friendships forged—a celebration of the art that unites us all.

Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just beginning your journey, this event is an opportunity to grow, learn, and revel in the magic of visual storytelling. So join us, as we turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories during the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk in Maasin City—a day of creativity, connection, and the art of seeing.
