About This Walk
Join us for a captivating Photowalk through the charming streets and natural landscapes of Kimberley, as we celebrate the inauguration of our new photography club at Centre 64: Photo@C64! This is your chance to explore the beauty of our town while connecting with fellow photography enthusiasts and becoming part of a vibrant community of image lovers. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or simply enjoy capturing the world around you, come and be inspired, share your passion, and help us kick off this exciting new chapter at Centre 64!
Your walk leader is the new manager at Centre 64, Kerri-Jo Buckman (http://www.Kerri-Jo.com). She comes from a dynamic photo background and uses anything from a cell phone to a medium format to pinhole cameras. She has been the Professional Photographers of Canada BC Photographer of the Year. Since then Kerri-Jo has won numerous arts awards, most recently the City of Richmond Art Award for Artistic Innovation. She also captured the title of Fine Art Photographer of the Year with Master Photographers International and achieved her Masters designation in Fine Art Photography with Master Photographer’s International. Her favouite work is her documentary work in Central Asia.
