About This Walk
The New Orleans Photo Walk is back on and I am excited to be the leader. The Photowalk is- centered in the French Quarter around Jackson Square, an area full of New Orleans and Louisiana histories, cultures, and architecture. A few of the many photographic opportunities in and around Jackson Square include the St. Louis Cathedral which was consecrated in 1794, the local artists and musicians around the square, the French Market, the Balconies on Royal, and more. Each one offers unique photo opportunities waiting to be discovered.
Your imagination and creativity will be stimulated beyond your expectations. New friendships will be formed and expect to have fun.

Rain In The QuarterOctober 4th, 2025
I’m sitting in my car in the quarter in rain. According to the radar and forecast it’s rain off and on until 6 when it drops to 60% chance of light to medium rain.
I’m flexible and can wait this out if you want. There are 3 of us doing the walk, so we can coordinate this if you want-. Please text me and let me know what you would like to do. My number 214-929-0340

Just A Reminder – The Walk In New Orleans is Tomorrow!October 3rd, 2025
I am look forward to meeting all of you. So far the weather forecast is looking good for our walk. We’ll meet up at Andrew Jackson’s Monument in Jackson Square. Please be there by 4:15 so we can get the amenities out of the way and start our walk.
I’ll be off to the left of the statue. I’m 6’5″ tall with white hair and mustache wearing gray shorts and a white polo shirt carrying my camera.

We’re less than a week away and I like what I see. I did a walk though yesterday and, as always I had a few nice surprises which I always have when I’m in my photography mode. The nice thing about the Quarter and surrounding area is there are so many opportunities that change by the hour as the sun moves over the Quarter.
So we can take full advantage of the walk, we need to meet around 4:15 to go through the amenities. When they’re out of the way, we can get started. The weather forecast is 5 degrees lower than yesterday which should make to walk even more enjoyable.
Our Meeting Place is a shaded area, why stand in the hot sun, left of Andy Jackson’s statue – Just follow his nose. I’m easy to spot – 6’5″, White har and mustache with my camera, See you then!
