About This Walk

The Iredell Photography Club invites the general public to join us as we follow the “Uptown Arch Walking Tour” in Charlotte, North Carolina, and capture street and/or architectural images.

Open to any photographer, novice to pro, cell phone photographers included!

We will meet in front of the Bank of America Corporate Center and begin our route with the Queens Table Statuary, moving through historic, commercial, cultural and religious sites. We will stop to spend slightly extended periods at the Charlotte Transportation Center and First Presbyterian Church.

Group members may choose to meet up for lunch or coffee at locations found during the morning. Also, the walk is 3 hours for the Worldwide Photowalk Challenge. Your photographs must be taken during that time, but you do not have to walk with us the entire 3 hours. Enjoy the challenge even if it’s only for 30 minutes!

Join us for a fun walk and learn from more experienced photographers – or pause to help those just beginning the journey of photography. It’s a casual, fun time.
