About This Walk
We are thrilled to announce Brand new Heritage Photowalk with Scott Kelby World Wide photowalk, and we’re delighted to kick things off with a visit to the iconic Chandni Chowk. As tradition dictates, we are starting with this vibrant and historic location.
During this photowalk, we will have the opportunity to explore both the charming narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk and the newly renovated spaces along the main road.
Please take note of the following details:
- Confirmation of Participation: To ensure a smooth and well-organized event, we kindly request you to confirm your participation by sending us a return email. Your confirmation will not only help us plan effectively but will also ensure that we don’t inadvertently turn away others who might be interested.
- Date and Time: The photowalk is scheduled for Sunday, 7th Oct 2023. We will commence at 8:00 am from the Meena Bazar Parking area and conclude around 10:00 am at the Spice Market.
- Punctuality: We sincerely request all participants to arrive on time so that we can begin the walk promptly. Being punctual will enable us to make the most of the available time.
- Travel Instructions – By Car: If you plan to arrive by car, we recommend parking at the Meena Bazaar parking lot or the Jama Masjid parking area. Since it’s likely to be busy, arriving a bit early will give you ample time to find parking.
- Travel Instructions – By Metro: For those opting for the metro, you can disembark at Jama Masjid, Chawdi Bazaar, or Chandni Chowk metro stations and then take a rickshaw ride to reach our starting point.
- Participation Fee: We’re pleased to inform you that there is no participation fee for this photowalk. However, please note that any entry tickets required for specific monuments will need to be covered individually.
- Code of Conduct: We kindly remind all participants that soliciting or promoting any products or services during the photowalk is strictly prohibited. Our photowalks are designed to foster a spirit of photography and camaraderie, particularly among amateurs and beginners.
- Ways to Support Us: If you wish to contribute and support us, there are two options:
- Spread the word about the Delhi Photography Club and encourage your friends to join us. Look for our Blue Tic Verified Page on Facebook, named “Delhi Photography Club.”
- Share your captured moments from the photowalk. After the event, please send 10-15 photos (zipped and compressed) to virendra@delhiphotographyclub.com, and we’ll add them to our club’s album.
- What to Bring: To make the most of the photowalk, please remember to carry your own water bottles, wear comfortable shoes, and protect your eyes with goggles. Also, kindly adhere to conservative clothing guidelines and remember that shorts are not permitted inside the mosque.
