Where The Walk Will End

About This Walk

Join me for a leisurely two-hour photo walk through the beautiful old city section of Innsbruck. We’ll stroll through some wonderful alleys and side streets; head to the Bridge to take a classic Innsbruck shot along the water, and we’ll wind up at Cafe Central, a casual restaurant very near where we started our walk. To start our photo walk, we’ll meet at the Town Square – just outside the local Tourist Info Office (Look for a giant “i” cube right outside it — we’ll be right across the street from that – just look for a big group of photographers up early on a Saturday). We’ll be at the corner of Burggraben and Maria-Theresian-Strabbe at the Town Square, close to SPAR supermarket.

Here’s the official Photowalk route:

The Innsbruck Photo Walk is Here! :)October 5th, 2018

Hi everybody – Scott here, and we just arrived yesterday here in Innsbruck (what a wonderful city – such friendly people and there’s beauty everywhere you look!). I’ve updated the walk page with our “after the walk” meeting place, which will be Central Cafe, not far from our starting place. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all on Saturday and spending a few hours together. Make sure you go and read my blog post today at http://scottkelby.com help you get the most out of the walk tomorrow. Hope you all have a great night’s sleep and we’ll see you at 8:00 am right near the Town Square (See the description on this page for more details on our meet-up spot). It’s going to be (wait for it…wait for it..) epic! 🙂

Thanks,  —Scott

  • Antonello DE SIO Concerning the backery, even if during my recent trip I haven’t had the opportunity to visit it, “Café Sacher” in Rennweg 1 could be an option, even to taste a slice of famous Sacher cake (on Trip Advisor has good references). Kind regards Antonello

  • fredistoeckl Hi Scott I live near Innsbruck, and i could recommend the Dom Cafe, directly in the old Town of Innsbruck. Kind regards Fredi

  • Enrico Ackermann I registered so far. hopefully it will work.

  • tomsi ahm... is it just a 2 hour photo walk, did i get that right 8-10am?!

    • Fernando Santos Yes, it is usually a 2h walk (at a slow pace) and it does start at 8:00 in the morning.

  • Josef Brummer Hi Scott, I signed up for the photo walk in Innsbruck tomorrow. Unfortunately, I will arrive later as it takes me about 2,5 hours to travel from my place to Innsbruck. I will not make it at 8.00am - so do not wait for me;) As I travel by motorcycle, my trip practically begins in Bavaria. I hope we see each other in Innsbruck. Regards, Sepp P.S. my English is not so good - (I'm the one with Google translator) By the way, the Europabrücke is also nearby and a very nice photo motif. • Scott Kelby Thanks for letting me know, Josef - hope you can join us. :)

  • Ermanno Ferrari About the contest, is cropping and/or rotating allowed ? It isn't listed in the contest rules list on the FAQ page. Thank you

    • Fernando Santos I don't see a reason not to be allowed cropping, rotating and other similar edits. Make sure the photo was taken during the photowalk.

      • Ermanno Ferrari Thank you for the answer

  • Michael R. Schober Hi Scott, thank you again for the awesome Photo Walk in Innsbruck. Is it possible to get our group shot in a higher quality? Thank you and kind regards from Munich, Michael R. Schober
