About This Walk

Welcome to the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk in Greenville Falls Park. I’m happy you registered to join us! This is a 2-hour walk open to everyone, whether you are a hobbyist, a working pro, or someone who simply enjoys taking photos. Any camera is perfect for this event, from your phone to film, DSLR, or mirrorless.

Please arrive at Tate Plaza at 9:15 am so we can meet each other, say hello, and get settled with logistics before we start walking at 9:30 am.

The Falls Park area is full of color and personality, and will be full of people and scenes to take photos of. Try to focus on wide scenes or isolated areas. If you are taking pictures of people please be respectful and ask their permission if appropriate. Children and vendors are considered restricted content.

We will walk across the Liberty Bridge and then up stream on the East bank of the Reedy River toward the Wyche. We will cross back over and work our way back going under the Liberty Bridge and then down stream and stop at the Medusa Tree. We will finish our walk back at Tate Plaza (11:30 am).

Since we will be in a public space, please stay aware of roads, sidewalks, walkways, and vendor areas, and keep an eye on your gear. Traveling light is a great idea because we will be moving around and exploring a variety of areas.

Photos submitted for the Worldwide Photowalk contest must be taken during the walk only.

Please introduce yourself in the Discussion section and feel free to post any questions there.
