About This Walk
I love the Fort Worth Stockyards, so much history and interesting little areas to shoot. On this photo walk , we will be walking Exchange Ave, shoot the cattle drive at 11:30, wander through the old chute and cattle areas. Ending up back at Cowtown Coliseum. There is a lot to see and do in this area with great opportunities for lifestyle and impromptu portraits. The profile picture on this page was taken at the Stockyards.
Have a good breakfast before you come and bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes. After the cattle drive we will meet up at Risky’s Bar-B Q fofor lunch. Western attire will make for nice images, if you choose, but not required.
I have been teaching photography classes and workshops for over 10 years. I am currently a freelance photographer and focus on portraits, events and feature shoots for magazines. I am PRCA certified and shoot lots of pro rodeos and have been chosen the last 2 years to be the official photographer for the National Finals Breakaway Roping in Vegas and in Arlington. Prior to becoming a freelancer, I was a photojournalist for 20 years, shooting all types of sports, breaking news, feature stories, events or whatever else came about in the 8 communities of Wise County. The best place to park for our walk is the lot towards the end of Exchange Ave, just East of the water tower., across from Stockyards Station. Our numbers to get in touch if you need it are;

Hi everyone,
We are looking forward to the photo walk at the Fort Worth Stockyards tomorrow. After we finish shooting the cattle drive, we will be meeting for lunch at Risky’s Bar-B-Q in Stockyards Station, if you want to join us for a social get together. That is on the opposite end of Exchange Ave from the Cowtown Coliseum. See you at 10 am on the steps of the Cowtown Coliseum!
