About This Walk
We will be exploring the grounds of historic Chautauqua Institution in the off season. We will begin with buildings located in the South end of the grounds near the Hall of Christ (parking lot) and Hall of Philosophy and walking (or some may choose to drive) towards the center of the grounds where the Amphitheater, Athenaeum Hotel, Bell Tower, and other interesting homes and spaces are located. For those that are unable to walk that far they can choose to drive and meet the others at specific locations. There will be a wedding later in the afternoon so we will need to be aware of that but there will be many opportunities to explore the unique setting that is Chautauqua Institution. We hope to also provide some period dressed models along the way to add some additional interest to your photo walk experience. The official walk will be about 2 hours but you will be able to explore yourself after. There is no fee to enter the grounds off season.
