Where We Will Meet

Where The Walk Will End

Returning to starting point

About This Walk

What could be better than a morning walk along the Holland river with your camera and some new friends? We will be sticking primarily to the paved trail so it will be accessible to a wide range of functional abilities. How far will we make it? That’s up to the group. Cameras have a tendency to slow the flow of time so we will cover are much or as little ground as the group wishes before turning back and returning to our starting point. You’ll have a chance to photograph birds, plants, insects, reflections, people, and maybe even a dog or two (watch where you step). Bring your camera, all your nagging photo questions, and get ready to have some fun.

The paved trail is relatively flat so footwear can be casual as opposed to hardcore hiking in nature. It’s likely to be fairly cool so dressing in layers is a good idea.

With a background that includes several decades of photography including weddings, photojournalism, underwater, and sports (love shooting hockey) I can hopefully help with any areas of photography you may have been wondering about. Don’t worry about what kind/style/size/price of camera you have, every camera is capable of award winning photos – the key is to get out and shoot.
