About This Walk
We will be walking Echo Lake Park and surrounding areas looking for shots of nature and hoping to capture the beauty of the area. The dam in the area is a good place to start, as others who photograph the area have captured Great White Egrets fishing, and even the occasional bald eagle. Any and all cameras are welcome, including cell phones, but keep in mind to capture the birds you will likely need a long lens. (300mm to 600mm). I will be leading the walk, and I have taken photos in this area for many years with a variety of camera equipment. I am always looking for a good shot no matter what camera I am using! I am a faculty member at Gateway Technical College in the Graphic Design department. I have canceled the meetup after the walk because of our small numbers.
