About This Walk
Hi, My name is Chris Livingston and I am a lifestyle family photographer based in Reston, VA. I have been involved with the World Wide Photowalks for probably 15 years now. Vienna has a great little farmer’s market every Saturday that is perfect for a Photowalk. In fact, there was one there years ago led by Rich Harrington. I had more “keepers” from that Photowalk than any other I have been on. Not only is there a farmer’s market, but there is a volunteer fire department and a school with a football field. There is usually a pee-wee football game there with really young kids, complete with 8-year-old cheerleaders. It is very cute. So if you want some sports action shots, make sure and bring a zoom lens 😊 There is also a very interesting Clock shop near there with hundreds of clocks of every size and shape including many very large grandfather clocks.
We will meet outside the Vienna Community Center facing the parking lot and farmers market at 120 Cherry St SE, Vienna, VA 22180. There is some parking available at the community center and more in the back parking lot of the Fire Department at 400 Center St S, Vienna, VA 22180 a block away.
After we meet back up at the Farmers Market around 11:00, we will head over to Ledo Pizza for lunch which is very close to the community center.
I will wear my black Nikon hat so I will be easy to spot. Any level of photography is welcome, including mobile phones. Come on out and invite some friends so we can have a good group!
