About This Walk
We’ll be walking around downtown Tucson and historic 4th Avenue which provide multiple opportunities for unique architecture, urban art and murals, and various settings giving each photographer the chance to take photos of things they enjoy and to learn and meet other photographers. Experience – any level from beginners to professionals. Requirements – open to having a fun, enjoyable photo walk.

Hi all, our walk is just a few short weeks away. There’s close by parking in the Depot Plaza Garage at 45 N 5th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701. It’s just west of Hotel Congress and below an apartment building. There is usually a fee on the weekends. There’s also surface parking as well as other parking garages. For those of you who have detachable lenses, bring a wide angle lens if you have one such as a 24, 35, or 50mm one. We’re walking to have fun and explore and learn. For those of you who might be interested, we can grab some lunch when we’re done or just a donut at the Donut Bar as we walk past. You don’t have to stay with the group if you want to wander off in another direction. We’ll be visiting the Train Museum on our walk and other things of interest. Wear comfortable shoes, bring plenty of water, and some sunscreen and a hat. Feel free to bring your friends. No pets please. Can’t wait to meet all of you.

Hello walkers. For our walk in downtown Tucson next month, any camera will do. An iPhone, a smart phone, a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. If you want, bring a tripod or monopod. We’ll have opportunities to photograph various subjects such as architecture, trains, people and pets. Anything that presents itself in our urban environment. We’ll get down low or gaze up, and look for ways to frame our subjects. As always, make sure to bring water, a hat, and sunscreen.
