About This Walk
Hi there, I’m Sam Horine a travel photographer specializing in natural light editorial images. On this early morning Seattle walk we will stop by a couple downtown landmarks while making our way from the starting point atop the Sinking Ship Parking Garage, through the International District and finally finishing in historic Pioneer Square. This walk is suitable for participants of all ages and photographic abilities, though there will be some hills and stairs along the way. Bring any camera you’re comfortable with (or want to learn more about) from just your mobile phone, to a film or digital body and get ready to see some of my favorite downtown sites in the beautiful morning light. On the walk I’ll be answering questions about photography, offering tips and insights about my shooting and editing process as well as what makes these neighborhoods my favorites in Seattle. At the end of the journey, we will finish at a lovely cafe (The London Plane) where we can grab snacks and coffee, just steps away from where we began the walk.
This walk is made possible through the generous support of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

sam horine Hi guys - I did the walk as I had originally planned it and it was a bit long so I’ve cut out the first stop and updated walk to meet at new more convenient location with parking - see you at the sinking ship on Saturday morning :)
