About This Walk
The Cumberland County Fair in Cumberland, Maine will be the setting for this years Worldwide Photo Walk. You must pay the admission to enter the fair. We will meet in the Exhibition Hall at the Photography exhibit and then head out to photograph the fair. You will see farm animals, midway rides, colorful food booths, extra large pumpkins and, weather permitting, fireworks that evening. Bring a tripod, extra batteries and a shutter release cable to be able to capture some long exposure images. If capturing with a cell phone consider obtaining a cradle to allow you to mount your phone to a tripod. Apple phone users download Adobe Lightroom [Free] to enable camera functions that are not otherwise available yet needed for doing the nighttime images
Come early and have dinner at the fair then plan to meet at the Photography exhibition in the Exposition Hall around 6 PM for a meet and greet before we head out.
The images you take may also be submitted next year for the photo contest at the fair!
This is an all weather event so come prepared.
This is the first time the Worldwide Photowalk has been at the Cumberland Fair and I look forward to meeting you there. I will be at the fair every day and welcome you to visit anytime during the fair.
