About This Walk
My name is Phil. This is my .. probably 4th or 5th walk I have lead and first walk since Covid took over since the last two walks were (first one) canceled or (second one) a virtual ‘walk-by-yourself’ walk so this will be a welcome relief. I am professional weekend sports photographer, photographing action sports. I have covered pro and semi-pro sports in the tri-state area including the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium, NCAA Mens Lacrosse Championships at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT, and various other sports, including arena football and soccer, and local city teams and school sports. My latest endeavor was being team photographer for the semi-pro soccer team the Hartford City FC for the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) which had had a great time and learned alot of things about being a team photographer, and also got to try new ways of creating photos. It was alot of fun!
This will be the second time I have hosted a walk here at the antique machinery museum. I chose it again because it is an outdoorsie type of place (for the most part. There are buildings to go into) and its very spread out, and making sure people are not uncomfortable about catching the virus.

Five more days till Saturday! If you have not been here to the antique machinery museum, it is alot of fun! I have taken my kids here a few times. Alot of machines outside, in the barns, displays, and interactions.. Hall of Steam Power, Blacksmith, Mining and Mineral Exhibit..
Just and FYI, there is a donation fee .. No set amount, but for me, I usually put in 5-10 bucks, depending on how many family members I bring.. my kids are getting big so they don’t always come with me anymore.
