About This Walk
After leading 4 previous neighborhood PhotoWalks, this time we’re covering the ENTIRE city in one day. The day starts at The Photo Outfitters for coffee and a meet & greet with your fellow PhotoWalkers, then team up and head out to document our great city. The location is up to you – North End, South End, Uptown, the Rail Trail, Lake Norman – wherever your creative powers take you that will best capture YOUR vision of Charlotte. The walk is a great opportunity to meet other photographers from around the area, make new friends and (maybe) expand your horizons.
Shoot as long as you like, but we will meet back at 6pm for a cookout, tell stories about your day and share your images. We’ll share more details about the afterparty as Walk Day nears. Film photographers will have the opportunity to have your film developed after the walk is completed.

Hello PhotoWalkers!
Thanks for signing up to be part of the largest social/photography event on the planet – Scott Kelby’s PhotoWalk 2023. As of this morning more than 4600 walkers have signed up to take part in more than 320 Photowalks across the globe this Saturday, October 7th.
We’re calling this year’s Charlotte Walk “Capturing the Queen” and unlike past walks we’re letting participants run the show. We will be leading 2 walks during the day (more to come soon) but otherwise you’re free to capture YOUR vision of Charlotte.
Here is what we have planned for PhotoWalk 2023:
-Participants meetup at The Photo Outfitters for coffee and doughnuts. We’ll start at 8am. Bring your crew and meet the rest of the Walk team while planning your day’s shoot. Team up (or ride solo) and head out for your day when you’re ready.
-Shoot as long or as short as you like. Document the city through your vision and shoot wherever you feel. Meet up with Cannon and/or Tony on our leader-led Walks if you wish.
-Meet back at The Photo Outfitters at 6pm for our post-Walk party where we can tell stories about the day, share your favorite images, grab dinner and hang out. If you shot film, we can develop it for you.
-The prizes for the PhotoWalk have been announced and they include B&H giftcards, KelbyOne Pro memberships, ON1 plans, Adobe all-app memberships and more from Rocky Nook, Platypod and RetouchMe. the full list can be found here: https://worldwidephotowalk.com/
