About This Walk
“Walk with us in an exciting photowalk across Cebu’s most iconic landmarks, starting at the historic Casa Gorordo Museum! We will be passing by the Heritage of Cebu Monument, Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, Pilgrim Center Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu, and through the bustling Carbon Market, we will finally end our walk at The Barracks – Carbon.
As we walk through these beautiful locations, we will be discussing how to utilize the 5 Elements of Composition in Photography to make your shots truly pop:
- Simplify the Scene—Eliminate distractions to highlight your subject.
- No overwhelming Negative Space—Balance out your composition.
- Lines—Use natural or man-made lines as leading lines.
- Rule of Thirds—Frame your shots for impact.
- Create Depth—Take good care of your foreground, midground, and background to make it appear 3D.
