About This Walk
We will begin our sunrise walk from the parking lot in front of the Shanty Restaurant which is adjacent to the Cape Charles Town Harbor. Hopefully we can get some photos of the watermen going out for the morning and also the boats that are docked. Mason Ave. is “main street” in Cape Charles where the walk will continue on the golf cart and walking path from the harbor to the main street. At Mason Ave. to the left is the town pier and beach on the Chesapeake Bay. If taking a right are the businesses, shops, etc., for Cape Charles. Living in Cape Charles since 2010 I find the whole Eastern Shore of Virginia to be a photographers paradise. Wherever you point your camera you could focus on good subject. I have signed up as a KO Worldwide Photowalk leader since 2019. Being a KelbyOne member, I thought Worldwide Photowalk was a brilliant idea and a great way to share the lovely setting of this coastal Virginia town.
