Our Worldwide Photo Tour, “Bonjour Jolie’ de Lafayette Photowalk” will begin at 3:30 from Kimberly’s Artistry Studio on 606 Garfield St. 70501. Use side street parking across from the studio or parking lot for Pottery Barn. Our adventure will begin around 3:40, please arrive at the studio between 3:15 & 3:30.
Bonjour Jolie’ de Lafayette Photowalk will walk and photograph along Garfield St. towards Downtown Lafayette and around the Jefferson St. area. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray. All photographers will have free range to photograph as they please along the walk. Prepare for our walk to be a little over a mile. Water is also a great idea to pack for the journey!
The walk is open to all levels of photographers. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting, this event is for you. Join our global community. After the walk we hope to have a BYOF picnic or go to a local restaurant (possibly back to the studio) to chat, socialize and share stories. What a great way to spend the afternoon. For those interested, you can donate to the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Kenya. Donating is not required.
Your leader is, Kimberly Dawn Hebert, native of Scott Louisiana. Kimberly has participated in previous KelbyOne photo tours lead by local photographer, Sonny Monteleone, whom has become a great friend. Kimberly has portrait and wedding photography experience with the dreams of one day shooting wildlife photography. Kimberly’s “Through the Lens” photo won best shot for one of the tour’s she participated in along with special pricing with adobe! This photo tour is a great way for like minded individuals to come together, meet new people, learn, and improve on our photography skills.
