About This Walk
Our twilight photo walk to the nooks and crannies of the alleyways of Tower Hill, Whitechapel and Spitalfields shall set the scene for our creative juice to inspire the blood curdling vividity of the brutal ends of so many women. Will you let your camera’s canvas be touched by the prostitutes of Jack the Ripper, and tell your own visual story with moody drama and atmospheric tension?
On this photo walk you will revisit the 1888 and its dark drama – your way! Be it your DSLR, iPhone or aim and shoot, there is a creative capture opportunity for all tastes and photographic passion – beginner, hobbyist or professional photographer. All are welcome to join in on the fun with me!
Bring your favourite lens ( 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 100mm or 24-105mm zoom for any DSLRs) -No need for tripod , but if you want you can bring one.
No rain predicted, so come comfortably dressed with good supportive walking shoes.
I may have a model for you to catch a bit of that drama! 😉
Some genres you can try out on the evening are:
– Street photography
– Film Noir
– Urban cityscape
– Light painting for that ghostly souls of Jack’s victims!
We shall end our time at the very Ten Bells, the Jack the Ripper pub where we shall shake off those frightful horrors and rejoice our new connections with each other , captures we made over a well-deserved drink or two together!
