About This Walk
After meeting we will take walk along some of the trails throughout the park where you will have the opportunity to photograph Sailboats and other watercraft on Greenwich and Narragansett Bay. We will also have the chance to photograph shore birds, Herons, Egrets and maybe an Osprey or two. Deer and Turkeys show up sometimes. As we get near Sunset, we will gather at the beach to catch the sun setting over East Greenwich Harbor. Bring along a tripod if you have one for taking the Sunset shots if you have one. Wear good walking shoes or sandals, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Be prepared to stay on the trails as Goddard has a lot of poison ivy which I will point out if you are not familiar with it. As it will likely be a sweltering summer day be sure to bring water to stay hydrated.
