About This Walk
The Adobe photo team is excited to have Sam Horine lead a thoughtful walk along the Seattle Waterfront w/ co-host extraordinaire, Dan Cole. With a focus on “elevating everyday scenes” we’ll get some steps in while making a mindful attempt to notice the buildings and people that populate this bustling waterfront. This walk is inclusive to everyone, whether you’re shooting with a mobile phone, a point and shoot, DSLR or film camera there is space for you no matter if you’re a seasoned photography veteran or have never taken a photo in your life.
The walk will meet on the elevated walkway between 1st avenue and the waterfront at the Top Pot donut shop, with it’s lovely overlook into Post Alley. We will make our way across the pedestrian bridge to explore all that the Seattle Ferry Terminal has to offer before heading north along the waterfront to eventually reconvene at the brand-new Overlook Walk, a soon to be iconic landmark which will have just opened to the public the day prior.
From atop this fancy new pedestrian plaza we can hang out for a bit, talk Lightroom, photography, community and take in the sunset. Afterward, at your leisure, feel free to head off into the night for whatever awaits you.
