About This Walk
My grandson and I walked the route yesterday (August 31), and we think we have it set but we are open to other ideas. The meeting spot is officially the corner of Legion Way and Water Street. There is a public restroom, and the street signs are directly in front of the restroom. Let’s meet there to start. From that point, we can walk around the reflecting pool/lake and possibly up on the overpass to shoot the rainbow railroad bridge and the harbor. Then, back around the pool/lake and up to the trail that will take us up to the Capitol Building itself. On the way, there is plenty to shoot. It should be a great walk.
There is plenty of parking but you do have to feed the meters. So bring your phone with the app or some change.
