About This Walk

This year, I’ve planned a short walk through Antwerpen-Berchem. But it is jam-packed with very photogenic spots! We will start at the Groen Kwartier and end at Brouwerij De Koninck.
We’ll gather at Caffènation Roastery and Bar PAKT, Lamorinierestraat 161, 2018 Antwerpen at 10:00H for coffee and introduction. You’ll find yourself in a very scenic spot right away… Get your cameras ready. Form there we will explore the Groen Kwartier, the site of the former military hospital. Next we will walk to Brouwerij De Koninck, taking a few stops along the way.
There is ample parking at a reasonable price near Brouwerij De Koninck. Form there is just a small walk to the starting location.
Note: Brouwerij De Koninck offers guided tours of their brewery at €16. If you’re interested, you can book the guided tour after the photowalk (at your own expense). Info & tickets:

Attention! As from August 1st, only residents and permit holders are allowed to park in the street in certain parts of the city. Visitors are required to use a public parking garage or one of the Park & Ride parkings at the edge of the city. Avoid a fine and read all about via this link:

Ik heb dit jaar een korte wandeling door Antwerpen-Berchem. Maar de wandeling zit propvol fotogenieke plekjes! We vertrekken in het Groen Kwartier en eindigen aan Brouwerij De Koninck.
We verzamelen aan Caffènation Roastery and Bar PAKT, Lamorinierestraat 161, 2018 Antwerpen om 10:00H voor koffie en de 1ste kennismaking. Onze ontmoetingsplaats is meteen ook een mooi plekje voor foto’s… Hoe jullie camera’s zeker in de aanslag. Na de koffie verkennen we het Groen Kwartier dat gevestigd is op de voormalige site van het Antwerpse militaire hospitaal. Daarna wandelen we naar Brouwerij De Koninck met een stops onderweg.
Er is genoeg betaalbare parking in de buurt van Brouwerij De Koninck. Het is een kleine wandeling van daar naar de begin locatie.
Extra: je kan een geleid bezoek doen aan Brouwerij De Koninck voor €16. Je kan eventueel (op eigen initiatief en eigen kosten) een bezoek aan de brouwerij regelen via:

Let op! Sinds 1 augustus geldt in een deel van de Antwerpse binnenstad een parkeerverbod in de straat voor niet-vergunninghouders. Je parkeert best in een publieke parkeergarage of op een van de Park & Ride parkings aan de rand van de stad. Vermijd een boete en lees alle info via:
