About This Walk
Join us for a walk through the Fairlie Poplar historic district. Many opportunities for street and architectural photos as we wind through an area of tremendous architectural and cultural variety. I’ve been taking groups through this area for over a decade, and you never know what you’ll encounter!
It won’t matter which lens (or lenses) you choose to bring, even “camera phones” are welcome! This isn’t a workshop but if you’re new to photography, feel free to ask any questions and I’ll do my best to answer while also pointing out some photo opportunities along the way.
Ken Ross There is paid parking along Centennial Olympic Park Dr. as well as off of Luckie St. across from Ted's Montana Grill (usually where I park). In addition, there is paid street parking. Lots in the area vary from $15-$20 for the day (don't be fooled by posted "early bird" prices).
Ken Ross Thanks everyone for coming out - we had epic weather, a lot of great conversation, and finished with a tasty lunch at Margaritaville. Hopefully you all got some winning images as well!
Tom Simpson Lots of fun Ken. Thanks for leading, as always. tom
